Richard Shaw has lived within the Tale Valley area since 1980 and became a Trustee of The Tale Valley Trust in 2000.  Having been brought up to appreciate the countryside and all it has to offer he now enjoys a variety of country pursuits and is interested in conservation. He has practised as a Chartered Surveyor in Exeter for the last 30 years.

Richard with his wife Peppi is a keen gardener particularly producing vegetables and enjoys visiting Country Houses and gardens.
